Article Snippet: The cell pellets were resuspended and fixed with 75% (v/v) pre-chilled ethanol at 4°C for 24 h. The fixed cells were harvested by centrifugation and stained with 50 μg/mL PI in PBS plus 50 μg/mL RNase A at 37°C for 30 min. Twenty thousand cells per well were processed in a BD Accuri C6 flow cytometer (BD Biosciences, San Jose, CA, United States) and analyzed by FlowJo v. 10.0.7r2 software (FlowJo LLC, Ashland, OR, United States).
